WORLD-RENOWNED SURGEON PERFORMS HIP REPLACEMENTS AT A.O. FOX MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

ONEONTA, NY – Dr. Christopher Drinkwater, a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon, of Stability Orthopaedics, Oneonta, New York, was recently visited by his world-renowned fellowship professor, Dr. William Lanzer. Dr. Lanzer joined Dr. Drinkwater in performing two separate hip replacement procedures at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.

 

Dr. Lanzer is a Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Washington and directs the fellowship program in Adult Joint Reconstruction and Orthopaedics Research at the University of Washington. Dr. Drinkwater is a graduate of the University of Washington Adult Joint Reconstruction fellowship program and has collaborated with Dr. Lanzer on various research projects related to the advancement of total joint replacement.  Dr. Lanzer’s research has been published in numerous clinical journals and he has traveled the world extensively performing surgery and presenting the findings of his research.
